Emma Goldman Clinic is hosting its 7^th Annual Dog Wash on Saturday July 15 from noon to 3pm in the south parking lot of the Clinic, located at 227 N. Dubuque Street.  This event is a fundraiser to help create financial access for clients seeking reproductive health care.

There is a suggested donation of $20 per dog.  Participating dogs should have a current rabies tag and be sociable with other animals.  “As we say, bring your dirty, but friendly dogs and we’ll do the scrubbin”, said Clinic Executive Director, Karen Kubby. “This is a fun and practical way to help women living in poverty financially access reproductive health services.”

Treats and water will be available for both pets and their owners.  Dogs that are washed will also have the opportunity to leave with a souvenir Polaroid of their clean selves with their owners.

Pet owners can sign up their dog to receive a post card reminder by going to the Clinic web site and signing them up by July 11, 2006.

Pet Central will host a both with items from their store for sale.
