Announces Expanded Services

Emma Goldman Clinic announces expanded male services and gynecology hours.  Men up to the age of 24 can now be seen at Emma Goldman Clinic for sports ,employment and routine physicals that include testicular exams,  sexually transmitted testing and treatment, self-exam instruction, and HIV testing and referral.  Previously, male services were provided for men up to the age of 21.

Emma Goldman Clinic is expanding its hours in which a Nurse Practitioner will be providing health care services.  Additional appointments are being scheduled on Thursday nights from 5-8pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.

“With the closing of the University of Iowa Family Planning Clinic it is important and exciting to be able to help fill that gap,” stated Francine Thompson, Health Services Director of Emma Goldman Clinic.  “Our community has a large need for reproductive health care services and we are proud to be part of the medical community in our region.”
