Emma Goldman Clinic Offers

Introductory Special

For Former UI Family Planning Clients
 

Emma Goldman Clinic is offering ½ price annual exams and 3 packs of birth control pills to clients transferring from The University of Iowa’s Family Planning Clinic.  The UI Family Planning Clinic stopped taking new appointments as of October 30, 2004.  This introductory offer for Emma Goldman Clinic is good for appointments scheduled up to February 28, 2005. 

“With the closing of the UI Family Planning Clinic, many women of all ages will be left without affordable preventive reproductive health care and birth control consultation.  We look forward to being the new home for many of these clients seeking their next health care provider,” stated Karen Kubby, Executive Director of Emma Goldman Clinic.  “We believe we offer the best in client-centered non-judgmental reproductive health care in the area and hope our new clients agree.”

Any client seen by UI Family Planning Clinic within the last year can call (319) 337-2112 to make an appointment.  Transferring clients should be sure to say they want their records released from UI Family Planning Clinic and take into account there is a two week lag period between making record requests and when records will arrive in time for their appointment.
