Every day we provide free services for women from all over Iowa and neighboring states. For many women finding the funds for services is a tremendous obstacle. A woman's ability to pay is often limited by income, no credit, a dangerous home situation or the inability to use family insurance.

The Emma Goldman Clinic is committed to helping ALL women
receive quality reproductive health care.

The following free services are offered on a walk-in basis.

Pregnancy testing and options counseling
Prenatal and adoption referrals
Blood pressure checks
Birth control consultations
Information about sexually transmitted infection (testing is by appointment only)

In addition to our free walk-in services we also offer consultations for women to receive emergency contraceptive pills. New clients, who have never been seen at the clinic before, need to have a short visit with a staff member before receiving the medication. The price for the consultation and the medication is $50. )A woman who has been seen at the clinic before can just pick up emergency contraception from the front desk, with no consultation, for $30.)

Walk-In Hours:
Monday - Saturday: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Thursday: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
